Heard a great message on Sunday, refreshing and yet so simple.
Ephesians 3:20, which reads
"Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us"
3 key points
Ask - Sometimes we just don't think about asking God. But the verse writes that God is able to exceed what we ask... But how if we haven't even asked?
Think - We might have "default mode" thoughts. Some might say "ungodly beliefs". Whatever it is, what we think is important, and it is important to have godly thoughts. And not to be bounded by our stereotypes or half-baked theories and all that might just constrain us from believing that God is indeed able. Mighty able!
Power - The power that works in us is as mentioned in verse 17, it's love... Having experienced the immensity of God's love, we have the boldness in us and we have the power.
