the small gathering i had at my place yesterday has come and gone. i'm not a big fan of crowds, and do not particularly enjoy being at the centre of attention. in my opinion though, thought it went on really smoothly. my friends managed to mingle with one another, and talking and laughing quite heartily despite knowing each other only then. i did a impromptu sort-off a speech, and i realised i forgot to thank the most important person - God! in all honesty i felt terrible thereafter. it dawned on me that the more we're caught up with the 'success' of stuff, we can just forget God.

so despite it being not like what tan and des were joking about - talking on a pulpit. i really wished i added this part - which sounds fitting for pulpit preaching into an event like this.

thanks for putting up with me, for all my flaws and imperfections, for being there at different points of my life (or for some, nearly all my life).
