last week of march

at the end of march, and nearing the dawn of april.

it's wesley's turn for 24.365 - unbroken prayer chain which has been running from june last year. a combined effort by churches of different backgrounds!

so for today, a pastor from the church preceding wesley's turn came to 'pass on the baton' to us. none other than newcreation. just thinking of it now brings some light-hearted laughter, i think most wesleyans were quite surprised when the newcreation pastor spoke. totally different from us traditional church people. the points made were perhaps a bit too many for such a short time she had to speak, but definitely true. can't remember any of them distinctly!

so today's 1130 service was quite packed with activity, with reception into membership as well.

gosh it's been 2 membership classes already since my confirmation. time does fly.

back to the last week of march... cs on wed, wonder how this week's discussion will go, no p.W for the first time, think we'll still be as talkative without her around. and for thurs, first time we're holding sg in church (usually at ywca), and we're committing an hr to the 24.365 prayer chain. also the last sg as we break for exams. anybody looking for a small group? seriously...

do want to try going for the lenten morning prayers at least once. it's awfully early, at 7.30am in the morning... tania will disagree on this cos that's normal for her. but since jc days have passed, going for anything at 7plus am in the morning is not normal.
