cny was good!

met up with dear cousins, namely illiona and feline. so yes, with me and my sis, we've all got unique names. should call ourselves the 'unique names club'. anyway that's besides the point... played a good share of cards, and in total due to profits made from cards i got my best collection ever. numbers not to be revealed, below a thousand though so don't get too excited.

and i better not spend any of it, because it's the year of the 21st birthdays! in a sense thank God there's only me and zy in lightsticks that are turning 21 this year. to the 22 year olds, too bad if you receive less pricey presents, 22 not as important as 21! haha..

not sure whether we're (my cousins and i) are going to meet again on sat. hopefully we can meet more regularly than just during festive occasions. let's see how it pans out. anyway kudos to illiona for planning the last cousins get-together. ;) haha, not as if she'll see this.

i will post up some pictures as soon as i get them uploaded into foster (yes my lappy's name). they are still in my sister's dear digicam.

today's ash wednesday. was at toa payoh and i saw this couple with crosses on their foreheads, yes, conspicuous big ash crosses. they looked so silly! not being mean but it was cute silly if you know what i mean. it's really surprising because i remember i used to want the ash mark to stay longer when i was younger, but it'll always just fade off so easily. so this was really surprising, don't you think?
