thinking about yesterdaywe pray, not because it's some psychological act, but because it shakes the Spiritual realm. yesterday was just a glimpse of the power of Your Spirit, people slain, head shaking, and those in the hall felt Your presence. we don't talk about the Spiritual realm because we're uncomfortable, but when we do so we fail to acknowledge Your sovereignty over it all. and to witness something like this at a regular service in wesley, i'm really just lost for words.
the big thing isn't what i witnessed. i think all of us know how awesome it is when Your Spirit is manifested in people. yet to see it happen in wesley, at a regular service... again, i'm awestruck.
it wasn't scary witnessing all this. not that i witness it on a daily basis, or that i've never seen it before. slaining isn't something new to me, but at wesley, very very new.
on a 'lighter' note, my mum's sg leader sent her an sms about life, pg 6. featured ericwatson, he won the chinese orchestra composition contest. heard something about it on the news yesterday i think, where the newscaster said there were british and american composers taking part. wah, and he won, seriously! the hokkien worship songs must have helped... haha.
