sharing

i think people share because of either one of two reasons. one is because they need a listening ear and ultimately to 'get it off' their chest. the second would be because sharing their experience may help others, as a testimony of some sort.

we all do both, just whether we're more inclined to one or the other.

i would like to consider myself a private person. and it feels oddly uncomfortable sharing, especially if it isn't sharing one-to-one. i'd like to think that only so-and-so knows about this, rather than the whole world. in fact the ideal situation would be to keep everything to myself and not share! tsk, so selfish right! but my idea is, why impinge upon people and make people sad only.

but somehow i've come to discover that when i do share, i realised those whom i share deeply with are those whom i can really relate to. somewhat like divinely placed friends in my path!
