some things i realised, about wimbledon...

for the championships, all the players have to wear white
(the championships = what's commmonly known as wimbledon)

wimbledon is the place where wimbledon takes place - wimbledon, sw19.
(for the us open it's flushing meadows, australian open is melbourne park)

the middle sunday of the championships is rest day, no idea why though.

the ladies are addressed with 'miss' or 'mrs' preceding their surnames. the gents on the other hand have no 'mr' preceding their names.
