post to myself, basically.

in the school library, and just decided to click on different versions of the bible to see the differences, and also to try to understand a passage better (from these versions, cos some express the matter much better than another at different times).

"You are the salt of the earth. But suppose the salt loses its saltiness. How can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything. It will be thrown out. People will walk all over it." (Matt 5:13, NIRV)

for the longest time i thought to myself, why are there parts like these in the bible. in a way it was so contrasting to the great love proclaimed by the disciples in the various letters to different societies/ people, eg Romans, Corinthians, etc. somehow i had to write this down, because it struck me deeply,

why do we want to be anything less than what we were destined to be? True salt of the earth, light of the earth. in any motivational speech, the speaker will use different ways to convey this message (inclusive of secular speeches). so truly, it struck me,

why do we want to be anything less than what we were meant for?

people of the great commision, true disciples, followers, children of God.

okay, now a post to everyone else.

just had my foc programmers meeting, was ok, only half my subcommers attended, the rest were main com members (except 2). i think my main com programmers are really not bad... hopefully we'll come up with good programs (actually more creative juice on their part) despite the lack of funds.

i rather plan a camp for church, anytime.

in case you're wondering what foc stands for, it's freshmen orientation camp. grace, you are obviously welcomed to join mine.. haha! and seriously please join me in ntu, i would be over the moon if you do.

they went through biochem midterm answers today, and to my horror i found that the answers i cancelled were the correct ones. i just never seem to be able to score for any bio-related mcq, inclusive of biochem obviously.

anyway about my trip, crap, i am going to have it, despite the foc programming. this was like planned superduper long ago.

end here, good night folks.
