when you take more than convenience to build a friendship, those are probably the more true friends you have. you also appreciate them more, and hopefully vice versa.

there are some friends where our friendships were forged in the less than usual of circumstances. for that, i really appreciate them. and some, in the more normal, but not that normal situations, i am thankful for them too.

even though i may not be that close to my church friends, i'm still glad to have them as friends, because i feel that their friendship is genuine and sincere, it touches me.

i think the older you become, the harder it is to make friends...
