void in our lives
ever wondered how it would feel like when you've accomplished everything you dreamt of? perhaps this may mean having all the money in the world, having power, having a family, having a good and fulfilling job, or even travelling the world. whatever it is, something in your mind just clicks and goes, 'that's enough', and somehow you just feel empty. for whatever your goals were before, you've acheived them, and somehow there seems to be nothing more.
and there seems to be a void in your life.
something's missing, but you don't know what, you don't look forward to anything, you just seem to be lost in the big blue ocean, drifting along, aimlessly. the question is, are you really that aimless? is life just drifting along, or even going with the flow? there must be something that leads us on, some greater power that directs the flow.
and the absolute answer to the void in your life is religion. because it will fill you, if you allow yourself to be filled.
funny how the sermon today mentioned about praying for someone to get to know God. was actually halfway writing this post when i had to rush off for church.
