happy birthday to me

you know the interesting thing when you treat your birthday as any other day, not purposely, but honestly, you just feel more or less that it's any other day. you'll be surprised at what your friends can give you, today was any other day for tennis with xuefeng, ziyuan and xinyi, but it was special cos as they were coming into the tennis court, zy was holding a small cake with a '1' candle and a '9' candle on it. it was really heart warming, and that touched me, what touched me even more was my present, they gave me something for bits and pieces, and i jokingly said, 'ring ar?', and it turned out to be one. thanks for making this normal day a little extraordinary.

next up i headed to ny, took the bus with zy. was walking around aimlessly in school, finally bumped into mrs tay, which is why i went back to school in the first place. it was a good thing i did, i think i'm truly and richly blessed. anyway i'll be on week plus long hiatus soon, don't miss me too much!
