anything
you know when you ask people what they want, and they reply with 'anything', it can get rather irritating. trouble is so many people i've come to know do that. it's alright if you do it sometimes, but if that's mostly your reply, it can be very nerving.
maybe it's just singaporeans. we're just this majorly indecisive lot, i can't say i'm totally not but the very least i do is try not to give 'anything' as a reply.
i know some people do it so they would not feel as though they're imposing on others, ie making things difficult. i'll paint a scenario here, which is very common, say you and your friends are going out, you people are hungry, but when asked for a place to eat, virtually everyone says 'anything', and then when you say ABC place, some idiot has to chirp in 'i don't like to eat there!', or 'i just ate there yesterday'. it's so fucking pissing off when people do that, not that i hate them, it's just that i wish they could look at themselves sometimes and see how idiotic they can be.
i know i'm not perfect, i know i piss people off. at least i know, better than some people who don't know and still happily 'anything' everyday.
oh ya, i think when people say 'anything', it can also mean they're too darn bloody lazy to think. like think a bit more won't die right..
