hello everyone i'm like so bored, i think i've reached the epitome of my boredom, so i decided to blog about my day... ok, which is quite rare cos i make it a point not to.

as usual i woke up early in the afternoon at 1plus. bummed around, went online, finally left the house close to 3. went to great world city to eat, then headed to ndc for my dental appt. it has been a while since i saw my dentist.

sidetracking a lil.

wah i think being a dentist is darn shiok la! comparing medicine and dentistry, you'll end up with a 'dr' preceding your name (not that that's any important). most importantly, the working hours is relatively fixed, and you won't have to work through the night and endure those terrible night calls. however, if i'm given a choice between dentistry and medicine (like that will ever happen, so notice the 'if'), i'll still have no qualms about choosing the latter. i have my reasons obviously, and money is definitely not a factor (cos i think dentists do earn a whole lot too).

anyway i don't understand my mum sometimes. it's like she's not willing to pay a bit more to let my sister go for private treatment for braces. obviously going to ndc would be a lot cheaper, like in my case, but that's cos i wasn't keen on it in the first place. for my sis, she would have to wait another 8 months, meaning she can only get hers fixed in july next year, when she is 17! thing is she does not want to wait. also if she goes to ndc, she'll probably be sent to one of those dentists that just graduated. the funny thing is sometimes my mum spends money on things that are not worth it. ok, won't go into the details, but it's somewhat penny wise, pound foolish to me.

so yes, my next dental appt is 1 year later. woohoo! but, for the sake of healthy teeth and gums, i will be going back to ndc on the 4th of jan to get my teeth cleaned. i still remember in pri school, the day when i got my teeth cleaned, i would be super particular about what i ate, so as to not 'dirty' my new-found 'clean' teeth. hahaaa, so rubbish huh? just like how some people brush their teeth before their oral exam, so as to feel orally fresher.

realised i've sidetracked quite a bit.

so yes, next stop was peoples park. to cut the story short, i should be going to phuket from the 21st to the 23rd of december.

i hope it doesn't rain.
