back at one

my first gp essay - 35/50. weirdly i haven't even gone beyond that, but my grade has fluctuated incredibly between the 20s and i hardly get 30s. you know the thing about improvements, advancing one grade after another? for me, it's has been just one topsy turvy rollercoaster ride. rather than wanting to improve beyond 35, i just wish to maintain that grade for my As, seriously... the irony....

(edit: ok, so the highest was 36, but that was my 3rd essay, so that's long long ago...)

dementieva's in to the finals!!!!!!!!!! gee, another all-russian final, just like the french open... hopefully she doesn't lose to her compatriot this time, i so want her to win. she's a great player really... she also plays doubles with ai sugiyama, what's more is they're through to the semi-finals. like the only other player i can think of who's so successful in both singles and doubles is kim clijsters.

too bad she's still recovering from a wrist injury.
