fatigue and after it
whether you are physically or mentally drained, thoroughly, there comes a point where you feel that you can't go on anymore. take running a marathon for example, or maybe even our 2.4km for pft, do you realise there will be this period when your body says 'NO I CAN'T GO ON' and somehow your subconscious mind, slowly and silently begins to agree with it. it becomes so apparent that you feel that you can't go on, 'hell no, even if you beat me to death, i won't run an inch more'. most of the times you give in, but then there are times where you actually overcome that terrible period of extreme fatigue - both physical and mental, and you just push yourself to accomplish the task at hand. and usually your sole motivation comes with a goal at the end, like figures to a price tag, it's that simple. so, my friends, i suppose you all are feeling weary and dreary, press on cos when you get past that exhaustion point, you don't collapse, the fatigue actually diminishes. because that so-called exhaustion point is just a facade, in fact you're far from the real exhaustion point, it's just a way of building your will power.
treat the REAL exhaustion point as parallel to absolute zero, in theory it exists, but in reality it doesn't. and unless someone can prove it... push yourself to the extreme ends of the world, we're not rubber bands that will snap, we are people with limitless potential that we can't discover all of our good attributes in one lifetime.
so even if we are rubber bands, we won't snap cos we haven't past our expiry date yet (and never really will cos we'll be 6 feet underground by then).

mid yr exams
here's my definition of it, which i really recommend, should be added into the oxford dictionary or collins cobuilds.
easy papers that are set to make you aware that they are easy to ace, which will make you feel that you're darn stupid due to your extreme laziness and apathy. the aforementioned will stir you to work hard so you won't feel like a bog-zero, especially during your As.
so that's how my papers went, there were not difficult but manageable and i'm probably gonna flunk every darn subject i take, except maybe gp (which i probably have to swallow a pathetic grade of a c). then again i shouldn't jump to my own judgement too quickly, for all your know i might end up with ooo or oof or even eof? which obviously, to me doesn't make a difference from fff, ffo or fof.
