black and white
if only things were that simple, the world would be a much better place to live in.
- if only things were that simple, this world would be dull, boring and bland.
sometimes you wonder, why can everyone and eveything be crystal clear to you. why must there be gray areas that exist for the sake of tormenting you.
i think we think to much about the world would be without these blur patches of gray, that we become oblivious to the benefits they bring. human emotions are complex by nature, more complex than the most difficult math problem or the intricacies of biological processes. if we to be just pure happy or pure sad, there wouldn't be mixed emotions. if there were just complete right or wrong choices, the word dilemma would not even exist. if everything were crystal clear, we wouldn't need to think before making a choice, because it is so apparent which way we should thread. but, life isn't like this, the choices we make mould us to what we are today, the problems we face push us to see things in a clearer light. if everything were so simple, we would have no need to fight for anything. because there would just be an absolute right or an abosolute wrong; universally acclaimed truth. sadly, or happily, the world is not like this. it is a pandora's box of gray enigmas left for us to uncover.
and because things are not crystal clear, black and white. the things we may see might not be seen by people. because of this, we have to fight for what we believe in, and when we do get what we desire, we treasure it because that's the way we are. if everything's presented on a silver platter for our taking, how would life be if that were to happen?
