thing about new things is that they're usually a lot better than the old. talk about gmail for example and let's compare it to the ubiquitous hotmail. firstly both are equally good in terms of delivery of mails, user interface, and the best part is gmail offers a whopping 1gb of space, yes a whole 1000mb compared to the paltry 2mb that hotmail provides. so those people who find that your running outta space, switch to gmail, i think they should pay me for promoting gmail man. oh well, it's still in it's beta form but it's good enough, trust me.
anyway, ate at the kopitiam outside my old school - ij. the ij at toa payoh lorong 1, not the one at thomson (delapidated holding school). i walked to the backgate and gee, it looked like any construction site... how i miss the old compound, there's this sense of nostalgia in it. how i miss those times when me and my friends would just stroll out to the back kopitiam to eat, those usual haunts. it's like, i'm very sure some people would have missed the old ny compound; the same way i miss the old ij compound - the warmth that filled the school. there's this thing about old compounds, it's like so homey, that's what i feel la. but old things have to give way to new ones, improvements, changes, they're an integral part of modern society. everything gives way to development, to progress, to the better good. this is when feelings and emotions give way to change. crap, shan't continue, if not it'll seem like a stupid gp essay, fuck gp la, stupid lame crap subject which i have to somehow get an a2/1 for, the only consolation is i've found my passion for it - by hating it.
