was thinking about writing about my day, okay, just a bit of it, but it would be to trivial - talking about how screwed my math test is and all... -shakes head- nono.

you know, you can feel so passionate about something, for say, a long period of time, then suddenly, this passion, somehow just disappears. maybe it's 'cos you don't believe so strongly in whatever you used to... or maybe not. take my best friend for an example, i never thought of her to be so important, somehow i even let our relationship take the backseat, and when i mean backseat, i really mean backseat. it's like the passion and drive to sustain this friendship just extinguished somehow (or so i thought). but, obviously, i was sorely wrong, perhaps when you're on the verge of losing something so important to you that you realise that IT IS so important to you. it's not just relationships, it can be your ambition or anything... somehow, your view becomes obscured, but don't let this fog in front of you let you lose sight of your goal.

there was this swimmer, i can't recall her name, she tried to swim across the english channel... she didn't make it, the thing is, there was a heavy fog in front of her and she couldn't see much in front of her, exhaustion set in and she reached a point when she just gave up... know something? she was only a short distance from her goal. then you think, if that happens to you i mean, 'what if i didn't give up'. but why did you give up in the first place? because you couldn't SEE your goal, but does this necessarily mean that your goal is not there? NO! the shore was just 200m away, IT'S THERE! just that you didn't see it...

so there, never lose sight of your goals, but if you do... continue believing in them, for you might have been caught in a fog and your vision blurred, but your goals are still there, just waiting for you to reach them.
