yesterday was quite a fruitful day... had a reall great lunch. met my godma at city hall mrt and she treated me to lunch at this jap restaurant at the swissotel, they serve really really good and fresh sashimi, and i tell you the alaskan crabs they had from hokkaido were surely big! all in all, thanks for a great lunch, was really full and my stomach rejoicing at this sure good food. hehe.
alright, next up i visited her office, was at raffles place there - you know all those financial sector stuff. yea, it was at the standard chartered building, like one of the top floors there, haven't been so high up in a long while. the view of the sea was good man i tell you. so yea, caught a glimpse of how a brokerage looked like, pretty cool actually, but not a job i'd ever do. yesterday had no 'action' 'cos only the japan and new york markets were open for trading. like, the rest of the world was on holiday (boxing day) and i tell you, hk has the most holidays, japan too, singapore has like only 11?
next stop was the polyclinic visit with my mum... went to collect the result for my x-ray. i had the same doctor for consultation, i must say i really think she's a pretty one, if not for SARs preventive measures i would have taken a good look at her whole face and not just the top part of her face - the eyes and a bit of the nose and the chin? oh well... but she's got good complexion man, and to add on, she's a nice one, somewhat. oh yea, i asked her which medical school did she attend and she went to ireland to study, apparently she liked it there, from her rings and all i think she's pretty well to do, like darn, i need to strike 4d or win toto to send myself to uk to study. oh yea, i figured i didn't qualify for university of melbourne today, how dumb eh? they accept people who take chem phy and math but not bio? like bio isn't a prerequisite, this is like kind of opposite from uk? ahhh, darnit.
never mind, if it's really not meant to be, i suppose i'll go into research of what. geez. should have just gone aussie for foundation...
