a new life is born

just before bio pract. today my classmate told us during chinese class that my bio teacher (mrs tay) had given birth. i was quite stunned when i heard the news as i thought she would give birth next week or so. goodness, we didn't even get to say our 'goodbyes' and all. this was due to the fact that this week was her last week and we thought we had enough time to get her something by friday (bio tutorial day). oh well, things certainly never go to plan. so my class had bio pract. with the new bio teacher today (ms choo) and it was pretty relaxing juxtaposed to mrs tay's practicals. but it seemed that mrs tay was pretty omnipresent, to an extent that no one put their bags on the table (except me). sigh, i truly miss her. her scoldings and all... yah, i can't believe i actually miss her scolding me.... she's one teacher i won't forget. i just hope she can come back to teach in ny after her maternity leave.

whatever it is, i wish her all the best in whatever she does. whether it's becoming a full time housewife or what.
